We are only a mile off the TransCanada Highway, between Hwy 17 and Hwy 17A bypass.
Our eco-efforts: We provide guests with compost pails so that all food scraps can go to the chickens and not be wasted, or attract flies, skunks and bears to the garbage cans. Recycling is encouraged, and 'adult beverage empties' are donated to the local dog rescue. Manure is composted to use in our garden, and natural pest control methods are used.
We have planted hundreds of white pines, red pines and other trees. They are marked with ribbon - watch for them!
